Prophetic Guidance on Privacy & Modesty

١
Separate Sleeping Arrangements

The Prophet (PBUH) instructed: "Order your children to pray when they are seven years old... and separate them in their beds." Two boys or two girls should not lie under one single blanket, fostering a sense of bodily privacy from a young age.

٢
The Three Times of Privacy

Even children/servants must seek permission before entering a parent's room during three times: Before Fajr, at Noon (Dhuhr), and after Isha. This protects the intimacy of the couple.

٣
The Lowered Gaze

Modesty begins in the eyes. Men and women are both commanded to lower their gaze from the forbidden, protecting the heart from the poison of unwanted desires.

٤
Gentle Speech

Parda extends to the voice. Interactions with non-mehrams should be professional and necessary, avoiding soft or flirtatious tones that might invite illness in the heart.

Mental & Physical Dignity

The Human Need

Dignity in Parda

**Mentally**, both men and women need the security that comes with boundaries. Modesty prevents the "objectification" of the self, ensuring we are valued for our character and soul rather than just our physical form. **Physically**, Parda acts as a sanctuary. It reserves the most beautiful and intimate aspects of our being for the one who has entered a sacred covenant with us, ensuring that the physical union remains unique, fresh, and divinely blessed.

"Haya brings nothing but good; it is the perfume that makes a human soul attractive to the Heavens."
A Covenant of Modesty

Guard Your Soul,
Respect the Veil.

Sacred boundaries are not chains; they are the walls of a castle. Protect your heart, your gaze, and your home. Let your conduct be a reflection of the Haya that the Prophet (PBUH) loved more than life itself.
